Being a professional flutist himself and her wife, the funder and the maker of
DZ flute, Mr. Zhao, has been in the flute making profession for many years,
worked as VP of Powell and other top flute makers, finally started his own
company making flute of all levels.
All DZ flutes are padded with Pisoni pads. The smooth key action, fast
response, and excellent resonance with such an affordable price put the
competitors into shame. Each instrument has been tested and adjusted in the
U.S. before going out. Particular attention is paid to the head joint that is
hand-crafted with undercuts and overcuts that make the sound quality full and
easy to play. All flutes are tuned to pitch 442. Must play to appreciate.
